Take your garment sewing skills to the next level in this 4-session intermediate sewing class, where you’ll create a button-up shirt or blouse from a commercial pattern of your choice! This class is perfect for those who are comfortable with sewing basics and ready to tackle more advanced techniques like collars, sleeves, and buttonholes.

 

What You’ll Learn:

✔ How to read and adjust commercial sewing patterns
✔ Fabric cutting, seam finishes, and garment construction
✔ Setting in sleeves and attaching collars
✔ Creating buttonholes and sewing on buttons

🧵 Skill Level: Intermediate (must be able to use a sewing machine and have basic garment sewing experience)

Ready to take your garment sewing skills to the next level? In this 4-session intermediate sewing class, you’ll sew a custom pair of pants or slacks from a commercial pattern of your choice! Learn essential tailoring techniques, including proper fit adjustments, waistband construction, and zipper or elastic closures. Whether you want to make casual pants or more structured slacks, this class will help you build confidence in sewing well-fitting bottoms.

 

What You’ll Learn:

✔ How to read and adjust commercial pants patterns for a custom fit
✔ Seam finishes for durability and a professional look
✔ Waistband construction (elastic or fitted)
✔ Installing zippers, button plackets, and hemming techniques
